On Sunday (March 24), the Russian Defense Ministry announced significant successes of its armed forces in Ukraine. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Russian artillery and aviation destroyed a number of strategically important targets, including ammunition and drone depots, four radar stations and an electronic warfare station.
The Russian military offensive in this phase involved tactical aviation, drones, missile forces and artillery. With the participation of many forces, the Russian military caused significant losses in both manpower and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 129 different areas.
These operations were carried out as part of a special military operation in Ukraine. The destruction of ammunition depots and electronic warfare equipment shows the strategic focus of these attacks. They were strikes aimed at reducing Ukraine's combat potential and defense capabilities.
Also on March 24, at a briefing at the Russian Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov announced significant successes of the Russian military in the Kharkiv region. According to his statement, two multiple launch rocket systems of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were destroyed by Russian fire, including the Czech-made RM-70 Vampire multiple launch rocket system and the German-made Mars system.
The RM-70 Vampire multiple launch rocket system is produced in the Czech Republic and will be supplied to Ukraine from 2022. The RM-70 Vampire can be ready to fire in less than 2.5 minutes and takes 3 minutes to leave the combat position. This missile system can fire 40 rockets in less than 30 seconds.
At the briefing, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov also mentioned the activities of many Russian units in identifying and destroying sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in areas bordering Ukraine, including near Belgorod.
According to AVP, the Russian army is intensifying its attacks in many areas. They have used modern weapons in attacking Ukrainian targets on the battlefield.
