Russia says Ukraine tried to attack a Russian naval vessel in the Black Sea with six high-speed unmanned boats but was unsuccessful.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry , Ukrainian forces attacked the Priazovye reconnaissance ship early on June 10 in an area 300 km southeast of the city of Sevastopol on the Crimean peninsula, where Russia's Black Sea Fleet is based.
At the time of the attack, an American RQ-4 Global Hawk unmanned reconnaissance aircraft was also present in the central Black Sea area.

The Priazovye was carrying out "monitoring and security operations along the TurkStream and Blue Stream gas pipelines in the southeastern part of the Black Sea," the Russian Defense Ministry said. "The Black Sea Fleet's Priazovye continues to perform its assigned tasks," the ministry added.
Ukraine has not commented.

Moscow and Ankara launched the TurkStream pipeline with a capacity of 31.5 billion cubic meters per year in January 2020. The pipeline allows the transport of Russian natural gas to southern Europe via the Black Sea and Türkiye. Meanwhile, the Blue Stream pipeline also transports Russian gas to Türkiye.
