The first working day of the 5th Session, 15th National Assembly

On the morning of May 22, the 5th Session of the 15th National Assembly opened at Dien Hong Hall, National Assembly House, Hanoi Capital.

The total working time of the 5th Session of the 15th National Assembly is expected to be 22 days.

At the beginning of the session, the National Assembly held a flag-raising ceremony. After the opening speech of the session by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presented a supplementary assessment report on the results of the implementation of the socio- economic development plan and the state budget in 2022; the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in the first months of 2023. Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee Vu Hong Thanh presented a verification report on this content.

In the morning session, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien presented a report summarizing opinions and recommendations of voters and people sent to the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly. Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Head of the People's Petitions Committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee Duong Thanh Binh presented a report on the results of monitoring the settlement of voters' recommendations sent to the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly.

During the remaining time of the morning session and the entire afternoon session, the National Assembly met on personnel work.
