The preparation work was carried out by the General Secretariat of the Award in accordance with the regulations, instructions, and schedule, creating favorable conditions for the evaluation of works by the Preliminary Subcommittees.
However, there are still some units that submit works to the Award that do not follow the instructions, register for the wrong genre, causing difficulties for the Secretariat's screening, affecting the award judging process. This year, the National Press Award continues to deploy the online judging form through the Vietnam Journalists Association's judging software for electronic, radio and television press works, in addition to directly judging printed and photo press works.
Entering its 18th year, the prestige of the National Press Award has been increasingly affirmed, the value of the award has been widely spread throughout all levels of the Association and its members. The preliminary judging process was carried out urgently, seriously, strictly, in accordance with the Guidelines and Regulations of the Award Council.
The 11 Subcommittees of the Preliminary Council worked impartially, transparently, and with a high sense of responsibility, completing the preliminary evaluation on time and with good quality. The preliminary results were fully summarized and sent to the members of the Final Council early, creating better conditions for the Final Council to research and evaluate the works.
