Director Trinh Dinh Le Minh is currently looking for child actors and actors aged 17 - 25 for the trio of characters Vinh - Phuc - Mien in Once Upon a Time There Was a Love Story .
On June 19 , Producer HKFilm, CJ HK Entertainment and SATE officially announced the first information about the movie project Once Upon a Time . This is a movie adapted from the novel of the same name by writer Nguyen Nhat Anh, first published in 2016 and reprinted more than 10 times with different book cover versions to date. The work received many positive reviews and love from readers across the country thanks to its romantic story, imbued with contemplation about love and maturity.

Once upon a time, there was a love story that revolves around the friendship and love story between two boys and a girl from childhood to adulthood, facing the challenges of fate. The trio Phuc, Vinh, and Mien fell in love together, awkwardly entered life, stumbled, and overcame. Once upon a time, there was a love story that is also interesting and unique because it is told through the perspectives of each character instead of a single person, so that readers can sympathize more with the story. Having come into contact with some of his works, I realized that besides subtly exploiting the emotions of marriageable age, Once Upon a Time There Was a Love Story also deeply exploits the choices and maturity in love. Director Trinh Dinh Le Minh was born in 1986, graduated from the Directing Department of Ho Chi Minh City University of Theater and Cinema and received a master's degree in Film Production from the University of Austin - Texas (USA).
Before the film project "Once Upon a Time" , some works by writer Nguyen Nhat Anh were adapted into films that had caused a big stir. Director Trinh Dinh Le Minh said that instead of feeling pressured, he was more excited about the next film in his career: "I think every director when receiving a script has their own choices and ways of handling it based on the original work. I am confident that I will bring new feelings, atmosphere, a truly special cinematic experience in this adaptation" . The film " Once Upon a Time" is expected to be released in theaters in 2024.
The crew of Once Upon a Time There Was a Love Story is holding an audition to find suitable actors for the roles of Phuc, Vinh, and Mien in their childhood (around 12 years old) and adulthood (from 17 to 25 years old). In addition, there is a special character - little Su who requires child actors between 7 and 8 years old. The producer's specific description of the selected characters is as follows:
