Nghe An: Opening of exhibition '50 years of unification and aspiration to rise up'

This is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); at the same time, it contributes to propagating and educating revolutionary traditions for cadres, party members and people, especially the young generation. The event attracted a large number of delegates, cadres, soldiers, students and people in the province.

The exhibition consists of three main themes. Theme one: “Nghe An and the resistance war against America”, introduces the role and great contribution of the Party Committee and people of Nghe An in the resistance war for national liberation.

Theme two: “Echoes of the Great Victory of Spring 1975”, depicts the heroic spirit of the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign, marking the collapse of the Saigon regime and the unification of the country.

Theme three: “Nghe An today”, reflects the province’s journey of innovation and strong development in the fields of economy, culture, education, national defense – security and international integration.

The exhibition opens on the morning of April 25 and will run until May 2.

With more than 100 valuable documents and images, the exhibition is not only a journey back in time to review the glorious past, but also an opportunity for each citizen today to express deep gratitude to the contributions and sacrifices of previous generations for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. This is also an opportunity to recognize and honor the strong rise of Nghe An in the period of innovation, integration and sustainable development.

The exhibition is open to visitors until May 2, 2025.
