Trade Office in Australia invites business consultants to boost exports and build brands

Experts in the fields of Marketing, logistics, blockchain technology solutions, investment, finance, import and export... were invited by the Trade Office to share experiences and support Vietnamese businesses in the agricultural and food export consulting session organized by the Trade Office in April, opening a series of consulting sessions to serve businesses in the new situation.

Opening the consultation session, Counselor Nguyen Phu Hoa said that the efforts of the Trade Office in many years of participating in international exhibitions and analyzing each industry have contributed to promoting continuous export growth of agricultural, aquatic and food products to Australia in the overall action program to build a supply chain between the two countries for many years. In the current context, there are many challenges, so the Trade Office organizes a series of market consultation activities and invites experts to attend.

Marketing expert, Mr. Matt Bailey, CEO of many businesses, head of Tomorrow Ventures, shares a lot of experience in building product brands, agricultural products and fast-moving consumer products. He has been to Vietnam many times and found that Vietnam has many good, quality products. He can support Vietnamese products to access distribution channels through the largest retail supermarkets in Australia such as Coles, Woolworths or Aldi. Mr.   has cited branding for products like American walnuts .

Ms. Nguyen Thu Huong, Commercial Consul (Commercial Office) updated new import conditions and market trends, as well as upcoming promotion activities of the Commercial Office.

The trade office answered questions about the conditions for exporting coconuts, reintroduced the promotional poster for canned coconuts for many years, contributing to helping Vietnamese canned coconut water be sold in all Australian supermarkets.

Speakers and businesses had discussions and Q&A during the event, opening up a channel for sharing and connecting long after the event. Necessary documents were also sent to businesses.

Exports from Vietnam to Australia continued to grow well, after 3 months the growth rate was more than 13% compared to the same period. Many items grew strongly such as iron and steel up to 84%, confectionery and cereals up 29.9%, computers, electronic components up 29.9%, rice up nearly 10%, coffee 38.4%, pepper 56%. In the context of new challenges, the Trade Office will continue to make efforts to serve businesses.
