The exhibition center is a 4m high, 45m long panel with enlarged prints of many lacquer and oil paintings and battlefield sketches by artists who participated in the resistance war such as: Huy Toan, Le Lam, Tran Huu Chat, Pham Ngoc Lieu, Phan Oanh...

In addition, the exhibition also displays works by artists born and raised in peace . Each work is a deep gratitude to the generation of fathers and brothers who fought for national independence.

Representative of the Exhibition Organizing Committee - painter Nguyen Thu Thuy shared: "Behind each work are touching stories of the author and the characters in the works they draw."

For example, the story of painter Le Lam, in 1966, he refused to study in the Soviet Union and volunteered to go to the southern battlefield to continue his painting work. Here, in 1967, he tried to find the character Tu Cao - the person who stopped enemy vehicles with his bare hands in Long An to sketch.

Painter Le Huy Toan considers himself lucky compared to his comrades because he was present at most of the important historical events of the country. “I paint war because I love peace,” he proudly said.
