The Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Command informed that on the morning of September 7, Dien Thanh Border Guard Station promptly rescued a fisherman who had an accident while fishing in the sea off Dien Chau commune.
At about 9:15 a.m. on September 7, Dien Thanh Border Guard Station received a report from crew members on the fishing boat with license plate NA-91275-TS owned by Mr. Cao Huy Dong, about fisherman Dang Van Nhung (born in 1969, residing in Yen Quang hamlet, Dien Chau commune, Nghe An province) having a work accident while the boat was exploiting seafood in an area about 13 nautical miles from Lach Van estuary (Dien Chau commune, Nghe An province).
Fisherman Dang Van Nhung was hit in the face and head by a broken rope, causing trauma, heavy bleeding and shock.
Immediately after receiving the news, Dien Thanh Border Guard Station (Nghe An Province Border Guard) urgently mobilized 1 canoe, along with 6 officers, soldiers and military medics to coordinate with the victim's family to quickly organize an approach, provide first aid to the victim right at sea and bring the victim safely to shore.
After reaching the mainland at Lach Van Border Control Station (Dien Thanh Border Post), the victim continued to be received by the Dien Chau 115 Emergency Center (Nghe An province) on standby on shore, given first aid and transferred to Nghe An Provincial General Hospital for treatment.
Fisherman Dang Van Nhung is currently being monitored. His initial health condition is stable and his life is no longer in danger./.
