Last October, Ha Mien released the album When the Cello Sings, which includes 8 songs adapted from famous Vietnamese songs from the 60s to the 90s, associated with the memories of many generations. The songs are performed with emotional cello sounds.

The success of the album made Ha Mien decide to hold a concert for herself, so that she could express her feelings through her guitar through many different musical works, marking her artistic journey, and also the familiar sounds, associated with the memories and recollections of many audiences over many decades.
The music night called Cello singing love songs by Ha Mien taking place on November 24 in Hanoi will bring to the audience a lyrical concert, a sweet music night and evokes many emotions about the past years.
In the upcoming music night, Ha Mien has chosen a number of classic musical works such as Homeland by musician Luu Cau, Preludes by artist Nguyen Huu Tuan, commonly known as Childhood Memories, and especially the work Return to Motherland by musician Nguyen Van Thuong.
As the name of the program – Cello sings love songs – Ha Mien will perform many works from the album When the cello sings. The melodious melodies of Mat biec (Ngo Thuy Mien), Khi nguoi yeu toi khoc (Tran Thien Thanh), T huong nhau ngay mua (Nguyen Trung Cang), Co gai den tu hom qua (Tran Le Quynh), Ha Noi 12 mua hoa (Giang Son)… will sound so beautiful, so warm.
In particular, along with Ha Mien's guitar, there will also be the voices of two singers with lyrical and classical styles, Nguyen Tuan Anh and Thang Long, promising to be interesting combinations when the cello and voice will "duet" together immortal love songs.

Performing with Ha Mien in this music night are close friends and artists who have accompanied her on her musical journey. They are violinist Trinh Minh Hien, pianist Bui Dang Khanh and saxophonist Duy Manh, who have always appeared with Ha Mien in many recent major music shows, along with the Audio Band. All together will bring the audience a music night filled with emotions, from nostalgia to contemporary, from deep lyricism to youthful freshness.
Along with the Cello Sings Love Songs concert, the CD version of the album When the Cello Sings was also released, as a gift for the audience.
Bui Ha Mien was born into a musical family. She began learning to play the cello with her mother at the age of six. In 1992, she attended the Vietnam National Academy of Music and received a Bachelor of Arts in Cello Performance in 2007. Currently, Bui Ha Mien is a cello lecturer at the Vietnam National Academy of Music, a member of the Vietnam Musicians Association, and an instructor of the Youth Orchestra, Vietnam National Academy of Music.
