According to information from relatives, artist Thuong Tin fell while stepping off a bus onto the street and had to be hospitalized due to soft tissue injuries.
September 9, information Artist Thuong Tin hospitalized alone in Phan Rang ( Ninh Thuan ) appeared on social networks. The image of the male artist sitting on a hospital bed, next to a walking stick, looking haggard and weak attracted attention.
Talk to Reporter and musician To Hieu confirmed the information that artist Thuong Tin was hospitalized. However, the incident happened on August 18, not recently as social networks posted.
According to Thuong Tin’s relatives, the male artist slipped and fell when stepping off the bus onto the road. Afterwards, he was treated by local people and taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
After examination, Thuong Tin only had external skin scratches and soft tissue injuries so he was sent home.
“After receiving information from Thuong Tin’s relatives, I visited him in person on August 19. The fall did not have a serious impact, but his health has declined and he has difficulty walking. Currently, Thuong Tin is unable to actively participate in personal activities and is being cared for at home by his relatives,” said musician To Hieu.
In April 2024, artist Thuong Tin returned to Ninh Thuan after musician To Hieu stopped supporting him with food and accommodation. In his hometown, Thuong Tin lived in a room of about 8 square meters, just enough to put a mattress and a few simple items.
Thuong Tin said he had broken up with his young wife, 33 years his junior, and moved in with his elderly, bedridden mother. As for the reason for not being able to live with his wife and children, the male artist confided that they could not get along and often argued.
Currently, both Thuong Tin and his mother are living off the support of his married sister who lives nearby. Sharing in a video in July, Thuong Tin expressed his desire to take on singing shows, have money to cover living expenses and return to Ho Chi Minh City.
“I just want to have a normal life like before, I don't dream of anything,” Thuong Tin said.
