During National Day holiday, many Chinese people prioritize traveling to Europe

The overseas travel booking market during China's National Day holiday this year is very active, especially to destinations in Europe.

At the travel consulting office of a travel agency in Beijing, the number of people coming to consult about travel during the National Day holiday is very large.

According to Mr. Cao Tung, in charge of the SOHO travel consultancy office, thanks to the promotion from the Olympic Games, European travel orders have generally increased. Destinations such as Italy, Türkiye, Egypt, etc. have become popular choices during the National Day holiday because of the favorable climate.

As of September 19, the number of international flight bookings during the National Day holiday doubled compared to the same period last year, covering a total of 1,597 cities in 144 countries around the world .

On booking platforms, accommodations with features such as vineyards, castles, and farms receive a lot of attention from travelers.

Mr. Ha Xuong Hoa, Director of the booking platform development department in China, said that compared to the May 1 International Labor Day holiday, the search rate for booking overseas travel during the National Day Golden Week increased nearly 4 times.
