Accordingly, after nearly 3 years of studying high school at Newton, in 2012, Pham Minh Thanh won a scholarship and became a student at Binghamton University, majoring in economics . Thanh graduated with honors and continued to win a 100% scholarship for the doctoral program. In 2021, Pham Minh Thanh became one of the youngest Vietnamese PhDs in the US. With excellent academic performance, the multi-talented boy of Newton School also worked as a teaching assistant from his second year of university and maintained it continuously for the next 7 years. At Newton now, many people still remember Minh Thanh with good feelings, about the handsome, intelligent, polite and humble student.

Pham Minh Thanh is one of the outstanding alumni of Newton School, becoming one of the youngest Vietnamese doctors in the US.

Following the previous generation, most recently, Hoang Pham Minh Khanh, class 10G0, has just added his name to the golden list of Newton Inter-level School when he won a silver medal (the highest achievement of the Vietnamese delegation) when participating in the 2023 International Junior Science Olympiad. This is also one of the first times in the 12 years that Vietnam has participated in the competition that a student from a "non-specialized" school has been included in the official participating team...

Accordingly, the school has signed a cooperation agreement on investing in building a school in Eco Central Park Urban Area - the largest green park in the Central region (Vinh city, Nghe An province) invested by the founder of Ecopark.

At Eco Central Park, the Newton inter-level education system is expected to be built in The Garden subdivision - the first subdivision to be built, opened for sale and handed over in Eco Central Park Urban Area. With 2 sides facing the road, only 1 minute drive to Hung Vuong Avenue, students, parents and teachers can easily access all other amenities of the urban area.

According to the signed agreement, the school will be built on a 27,728m² plot of land with a construction density of 40%, a maximum height of 5 floors with a modern, international-standard infrastructure system including a sports area, football field, swimming pool, chemistry laboratory, physics center, chemistry house, historical area, etc. In addition to the international standard curriculum, students at Newton will also receive in-depth training in physical education and arts with leading Vietnamese experts.

The founder of Ecopark is the investor of the Eco Central Park project, covering nearly 200 hectares in Vinh city, Nghe An province. This is considered the largest urban project in Vinh city to date.
