On the morning of July 14, the fishing boat of fisherman Nguyen Van Duong, Cua Lo ward (Yen Son block, old Nghi Thuy ward) docked at Cua Lo port, bringing back 9 tons of seafood.
The ship departed on the afternoon of July 13, fishing in the fishing grounds off Mat Island, which is currently the main fishing season of the year. Thanks to favorable weather and rich fishing grounds, this trip brought high yields for the 20 crew members on board.
From early morning, when the ship just docked, traders were present in large numbers, ready to buy each batch of fresh fish that had just been brought ashore. Accordingly, up to 6 tons of silver pomfret and 3 tons of other types of fish were sold right at the wharf with the revenue of over 150 million VND.

In particular, recognizing and praising the fishermen's efforts at sea, the leaders of Cua Lo ward directly awarded the emulation flag to Mr. Nguyen Van Duong's fishing boat right at the wharf.
This is a timely form of encouragement, demonstrating the close concern of the local government for fishermen, who are working day and night at sea, contributing to preserving aquatic resources and the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
