(CT) - According to the People's Committee of Cai Rang Ward, in the first 9 months of 2025, the total retail sales of goods in the ward reached 7,325 billion VND, an increase of 16.27% over the same period in 2024. Revenue from accommodation and food services reached 1,528 billion VND, an increase of 13.58% over the same period last year. Of which, accommodation services are estimated at 969 billion VND, an increase of 11.07% and food services are estimated at 558 billion VND, an increase of 9.77% over the same period in 2024.

The ward organizes the review and update of planning for investment projects in the commercial sector such as the Mekong Delta Agricultural and Aquatic Products Trade and Service Center project; Hung Thanh Market and Trade and Service Center project; public lands in the ward calling for investment in supermarkets (the old Cai Rang Ward People's Committee headquarters land, the old Cai Rang Ward landfill land). In the ward, there are 9 tourist attractions, homestays in operation and 2 historical - cultural relics at the city level, attracting over 1 million domestic and foreign tourists to visit, entertain and relax.

In the last months of 2025, the ward will continue to closely monitor the production and business situation, proactively remove difficulties, improve the efficiency of trading activities; create all conditions for enterprises and business households to develop production and business. At the same time, increase investment in developing commercial infrastructure, consolidate and promote traditional distribution channels, retail networks and convenience store chains; encourage and support services to promote local product brands.
