Coming from behind to beat Thailand, Vietnam women's volleyball team won the SEA V.League championship

(NLDO) – Having lost two games in the "final" match at home, the Vietnamese women's team came back to win the next three games against Thailand to become the SEA V.League champion.

Unlike the SEA V.League stage 1 final less than a week ago, the Vietnamese women's team entered the match in confusion, making many mistakes in both passing and defending the back line.

The match that decided the championship of the second stage of SEA V.League 2025 had to go into the fifth game and for the first time in more than 30 years, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team defeated their arch-rival Thailand. The 3-2 victory also helped the Vietnamese team break the Thai dominance in the ASEAN Grand Prix/SEA V.League playground.
