On July 22, a representative of the Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) - Ministry of Finance awarded the jackpot prize worth nearly 345 billion VND to Mr. NP (residing in Ho Chi Minh City). Mr. P. is the lucky person who won the biggest jackpot prize ever in Vietnam.

Mr. P. won the jackpot of the Power 6/55 draw of 1,215 products with the numbers 02-34-39-41-45-52. After deducting personal income tax according to regulations, Mr. P. actually received more than 310 billion VND. This amount was transferred to Mr. P.'s account on the afternoon of July 22.
Responding to VTC News, Mr. P. said that he is working as a salesman in Ho Chi Minh City. When buying lottery tickets, he bought 5 sets of numbers and luckily one set of numbers won the jackpot. When he found out he won, he was so nervous that he couldn't even hold a bowl of rice. The first person he told was his wife.
“My wife couldn’t believe that I won such a big prize. She was so happy, hugged me and said she loved me very much,” said Mr. P.
According to Mr. P., he has no specific plan for how to use the prize money. For now, he will support the Tam Tai Viet Social Fund to use for social security work nationwide.

Vietlott representative shared that Ho Chi Minh City is always the locality with higher lottery ticket issuance revenue compared to other localities. In the first 6 months of 2025, Vietlott's revenue in Ho Chi Minh City accounted for 28% of total revenue.
In addition to Mr. P's jackpot prize, the Power 6/55 draw of 1,215 products also had 2 Jackpot 2 winning tickets worth nearly 4 billion VND issued in Hanoi and Bac Ninh.
Previously, in April 2024, Vietlott awarded a jackpot prize worth more than 314 billion VND to two lucky customers in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. H. and Mr. HL. This was also the biggest prize in the lottery industry up to that time.
Mr. H. bought the lucky ticket at point of sale No. 14 Xo Viet Nghe Tinh, Binh Thanh District (old), Ho Chi Minh City. Mr. HL bought the lottery ticket at point of sale No. 10 Pham Dinh Ho, District 6 (old), Ho Chi Minh City. Because the two players bought the same Jackpot lottery ticket, the prize money was divided equally among each customer, which was more than 157 billion VND.
