People need to move aquaculture cages and rafts to permitted farming areas.

Recently, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province issued an official dispatch responding to opinions and recommendations from voters in coastal localities in the province on the implementation of aquaculture planning at sea, support for relocating aquaculture cages into the planning area and support for vocational training and job creation for surplus aquaculture workers when arranging cages.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee has issued a plan to strengthen the management of aquaculture activities in the province. It has issued coordinates of aquaculture areas at sea, assigned departments, branches and localities to urge, inspect and supervise the relocation of cages and rafts to permitted aquaculture areas and hand over sea areas to people for aquaculture according to regulations; coastal localities urgently develop and organize the implementation of plans to arrange aquaculture cages and rafts in localities in accordance with the requirements of local socio -economic development associated with ensuring national defense and security in the new situation. Currently, the State does not implement support policies for households that do not register for aquaculture in cages and rafts and do not raise according to the plan; households need to relocate aquaculture cages and rafts to permitted aquaculture areas.

Regarding the request for support in vocational training and job creation for surplus agricultural workers, localities need to provide guidance, review the needs, and send documents to relevant departments and branches of the province to implement according to the plan of the Provincial People's Committee on agricultural vocational training for rural workers in the province for the period 2024 - 2025.
