The rehearsal mobilized tens of thousands of cadres, soldiers, students and the masses. The parades, marches and vehicles were deployed synchronously, ensuring solemnity, spirit and grandeur, equivalent to the scale of the official ceremony. This was an important rehearsal to ensure the success of September 2.

Before the practice session, the streets around Ba Dinh Square were decorated with flags and flowers. Security, order, and traffic flow were strictly implemented, ensuring the safety of the participants and creating favorable conditions for people to watch.

From the morning of the same day, many people from the capital and neighboring provinces flocked to the Square to choose a convenient location. Many young people and families carried the national flag and wore traditional ao dai, creating a special atmosphere, arousing national pride.

Many people said they proactively arranged their work to go to the capital, not only to satisfy their national pride but also to let their children and grandchildren witness the solemn and grand atmosphere of the historical event.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh ( Hai Phong ) took her 10-year-old son there at 3 a.m. and shared: "I want to show him this special atmosphere to understand more about the heroic history of the nation."

Nguyen Thu Trang, a student at the University of Commerce, was moved: “This is the first time I have witnessed such a large-scale preparation, I feel overwhelmed and proud. We will share this moment on social media to spread the joy.”

Previously, on the evening of August 18 and 19, blocks of vehicles and artillery were brought into the inner city. These are all modern equipment of the People's Army and Police, including many types of weapons and vehicles researched, produced and improved by Vietnam such as UAVs, tanks, rocket artillery, ballistic missiles, etc.
After this general training session, there will be preliminary and final rehearsals at Ba Dinh Square.

According to the plan, on the morning of September 2, after passing the stage, the parade groups are expected to split into 7 directions, moving through many central streets of Hanoi . People can watch directly on streets such as Hung Vuong, Hoang Dieu, Kim Ma... or through 270 LED screens arranged throughout the capital.
