(Dan Tri) - Although the lottery winners have shared a sum of money, Mr. Thach Kha Mao (in Tra Vinh ) said his situation is still difficult, and he plans to work as a construction worker to make a living.
Regarding the incident of Mr. Thach Kha Mao (39 years old, residing in Long Thanh town, Duyen Hai district, Tra Vinh province), the owner of 2 torn jackpot tickets that caused a stir in the past few days, on February 6, talking to the press, Mr. Mao said that although he was still very sad, his spirit was stable enough to continue working.

The man said that on February 1 (the 4th day of Tet), he bought 10 lottery tickets with the number 916303, from Hau Giang Lottery Company, drawing date February 1. Because he did not have any lucky money for his relatives, Mr. Mao gave out 8 lottery tickets to 7 people instead of lucky money.
Mr. Mao kept two lottery tickets, put them in his pocket and waded through the fields to catch crabs. Because he wasn't paying attention, the lottery tickets got wet and crumpled.
"The next day, many of my children and grandchildren came over to my house to hug me and thank me for giving them the winning lottery tickets. At that time, I took out my two lottery tickets to look at them and they were all crumpled," Mr. Mao said.

"Seeing everyone else get rewarded, but I don't get it, makes me sad," said Mr. Mao.
After the incident, Mr. Mao said that the people he gave the winning lottery tickets to gave him money in return.
"We are all brothers, some gave me 20 million VND, some gave me 30 million VND, the most gave me 50 million VND. They are also poor and in debt, so they only gave me a little bit of money as encouragement," Mr. Mao shared.
Regarding his personal situation, Mr. Mao said he is unemployed and single. Mr. Mao is the youngest of eight siblings and lives with his mother and sister.
With the money shared by the lottery winners, Mr. Mao plans to buy a house to live on his own. "In the near future, I plan to go to Phu Quoc to work as a construction worker in February to earn a living," Mr. Mao added.
