In Nghia Hanh commune, on the afternoon of August 31, the commune distributed Independence Day gifts to the people. The whole commune has more than 31,000 people, corresponding to a total gift amount of more than 3.1 billion VND.

In Tu Mo Rong commune, 15 officials and civil servants from local agencies and units were mobilized to serve the gift distribution. The whole commune has more than 6,700 people, of which the Xo Dang ethnic group accounts for about 95%.

Commune officials reviewed and verified the list of people eligible for support on the national population database; guided people to register and link social security accounts on VNeID; supported opening online bank accounts for those who did not have one and made early and correct payments.

Quang Ngai province has added more than 213 billion VND for 96 communes, wards and special zones to carry out the work of giving gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

The Standing Committee of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee requested the Provincial People's Committee and relevant agencies to urgently deploy and complete the gift giving to the people no later than September 2.
