60-year-old woman crowned beauty queen thanks to her strangely youthful appearance

According to Oddity Central (UK), late last year, the Miss Universe Argentina pageant removed the age limit that had been in place since 1958. Starting this year, the pageant is no longer limited to women between the ages of 18 and 28. Instead, the organizers only mentioned that contestants must be of legal age to participate, which has opened the door to many older women. Among them, Ms. Rodríguez, a 60-year-old woman with an incredibly youthful appearance from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Alejandra Marisa Rodríguez recently rose to fame in Latino society after winning the Miss Buenos Aires title despite competing with dozens of much younger girls.

“I am very happy and honored to win the title of Miss Buenos Aires 2024. I want to prove to all women that beauty has no age and that we can break all barriers. I have worked on my fitness, my confidence and my skills on stage. I want to show that women’s empowerment has no limits,” said Ms. Rodríguez.

The 60-year-old woman’s youthful appearance has sparked a heated debate online. Many people said they were shocked to learn that she was over 40.

Others believe she actually has a good chance in the next stage of the Miss Universe Argentina race, which will take place on May 25 and will feature candidates from other regions of Argentina.

Sharing her secret to looking younger than her age, Alejandra Marisa Rodríguez said she works out three times a week, practices intermittent fasting and tries to eat as healthily as possible. She also uses good skin creams.

Ms. Rodriguez, who is divorced, said her single status may have helped her success in recent competitions.

“I think the judges saw my confidence and passion in representing women of my generation. I am determined to win the Miss Universe Argentina 2024 crown. Beauty has no expiration date, to become a beautiful woman, you just need to believe in yourself and be sincere,” said the 60-year-old woman.
