(Dan Tri) - An elderly woman in Hanoi left her handbag containing 21 million VND and many important documents on the bus, unexpectedly receiving good news from another woman.
At around 6:00 p.m. on December 4, after finishing picking up and dropping off passengers, bus route 50 (belonging to Hanoi Bus Company 10-10) returned to the bus station in An Lac Urban Area (Hoai Duc district).
While cleaning the bus to prepare for the next trip, flight attendant Tran Thi Thu Hien and driver Nguyen Minh Dan discovered a black handbag left behind by a passenger.
Checking her bag, Ms. Hien found more than 21 million VND in cash and many other valuables. The female bus employee called the route operator of the parent company to report the incident.
At the same time, the route operator received information from the Customer Service Department about a female passenger reporting that she had left a black handbag containing a large amount of cash inside.

The route operator coordinated with the customer service department to ask for the passenger's phone number to contact this person's residence to confirm the information.
After the customer provided information that matched the ID card and other documents in the bag, the operator returned the property to this person.
The passenger who left her belongings behind was an elderly woman. She said she had a business trip the next day and had to travel by plane, so she needed her personal documents.
When receiving her property back, she expressed her joy and emotion, thanking the bus company, especially the female driver on bus route 50.
"I sincerely thank driver Minh Dan and assistant Thu Hien for their enthusiastic support so that I can soon receive my property back," said the female passenger.

Recently, many bus drivers and staff in Hanoi have taken meaningful actions, contributing to spreading positive values in life.
Previously, on November 26, Mr. Chu Duc Hieu (37 years old), a bus assistant on route 101A (Giap Bat bus station - Van Dinh town) discovered an old man fainted, showing many signs of serious illness.
Driver Nguyen Van Tuan (34 years old) turned on his emergency lights, drove at a safe speed, and arrived at the nearest hospital after about 10-15 minutes. As soon as the car stopped, driver Hieu did not have time to think much, immediately carried the old man into the emergency room and handed him over to the medical staff.
He briefly explained the passenger's condition, then quickly returned to the car to do his duty because there were still passengers waiting on the bus.

In early November, Mr. Le Trung Thuc (35 years old), a bus employee on bus route 15 (Gia Lam Bus Station - Pho Ni), overpowered a pickpocket on the bus. It was a young man sitting in the back row, reaching into the front seat, secretly unlocking a backpack, and stealing a female student's phone.

While Mr. Thuc successfully controlled the pickpocket and recovered the phone to return to the passenger, bus driver Do Thai Hoa (41 years old) reported to the management unit to take the subject to the Dong Anh District Police headquarters to report.
Mr. Thuc said he has been a bus conductor for about 7-8 years and this is the first time he has encountered a pickpocketing situation on the bus. Although the subject begged for forgiveness many times, he said he did not want the ugly behavior of an individual to negatively affect the image of the bus.
