Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee Lo Van Mung reported on the results of the Front's work to former Chairmen of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Lo Van Mung reported to the former leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on the results of the Front's work in the past time. In recent years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province have effectively implemented their tasks and achieved many positive results. The political security situation, social order and safety in the area are stable, the great solidarity of ethnic groups is consolidated and strengthened. Propaganda and mobilization work is deployed flexibly and effectively; emulation movements and campaigns are increasingly widespread and bring results, contributing to the implementation of the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security of the locality. Activities to care for and support the poor and policy families are timely and thoughtfully implemented. In particular, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all provincial levels have effectively implemented the support for building 5,000 solidarity houses for poor households towards the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory, creating a widespread impact throughout the country...

Comrade Huynh Dam, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, spoke at the meeting.

The former Chairmen of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front expressed their joy at the results that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all provincial levels have achieved in recent years. With the efforts of the Party Committee, the government and the people of all ethnic groups, Dien Bien province is increasingly developing and innovating, the poverty rate is decreasing, and people's lives are gradually improving. The comrades encouraged the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all provincial levels to continue to strive to overcome difficulties and challenges to consolidate, strengthen and promote the great solidarity of ethnic groups in the area. At the same time, they should pay attention to and support people's lives, ensure social security for the poor; effectively implement campaigns and emulation movements to contribute to socio-economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction, and ensure local national defense and security.
