On the evening of March 16, at the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association, to welcome the 2024 National Journalism Festival and celebrate the 74th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Journalists Association (April 21, 1950 - April 21, 2024), the 99th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2024), the Vietnam Press Museum in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association solemnly held the launching ceremony of the new work Huynh Dung Nhan Collection - the life and writing of writer - journalist Huynh Dung Nhan (recently published by the Writers Association Publishing House).

The introduction of the new work was attended by leaders of the Vietnam Journalists Association, representatives of the Journalists Associations of the provinces: Thanh Hoa, Tuyen Quang, Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City... along with colleagues, artists: writers Bich Ngan, Vo Thu Huong, musicians: Pham Dang Khuong, Quynh Hop, Quynh Le, journalists Nam Binh, Hoai Huong...

Speaking to congratulate journalist Huynh Dung Nhan, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association Le Quoc Minh highly appreciated Mr. Huynh Dung Nhan's contributions to the Vietnamese journalism career. "Mr. Nhan often complains about being scolded by his wife, but I know that she is a wonderful companion who sympathizes and shares a lot with him in his work. Through social networks, I know that my mother also often encourages and motivates him a lot in his writing. I am also very touched with my mother that he let me have a few lines appear in this new work," Mr. Le Quoc Minh confided.

Writer - journalist Huynh Dung Nhan (1955) is a famous writer of the national press. His name is listed in Wikipedia . He is an outstanding reporter of Vietnam in the renovation period. In the years 1990 - 2010, many readers went to buy Lao Dong newspaper (where he worked) to read his reports.

The book includes genres (10 articles each): reportage, poetry, music, painting, photography, essays, short stories, like "telling stories" about 70 years of a life dedicated to literature, journalism, poetry, painting... of journalist Huynh Dung Nhan.

In 2015, journalist Huynh Dung Nhan retired, but he continued to write, teach, and contribute in many fields. Three years ago, he suffered a stroke, but he persevered in training, overcame his illness, practiced drawing propaganda and portrait paintings, and organized three art exhibitions at two museums in Hanoi. While he had two famous trips across Vietnam by motorbike, while still suffering from a stroke, he made a third journey to visit 45 provinces and cities to revisit landmarks and friends, and reminisce about special memories of his writing career.
