On the morning of November 14, Tre Publishing House announced that it will retain the right to use all works of author Nguyen Dinh Dau, according to a lifetime copyright contract recently signed by researcher Nguyen Dinh Dau and Ms. Phan Thi Thu Ha, Director of Tre Publishing House.

The contract signing ceremony was held at the home of researcher Nguyen Dinh Dau. The family said that the detailed number of his works is still being updated. However, the initial list of works under his own name, including more than 40 books, was confirmed by him on this meaningful signing day.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, researcher Nguyen Dinh Dau respectfully recalled the unforgettable memories of the late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet. Recently, Tre Publishing House has published 8 books by researcher Nguyen Dinh Dau. Ms. Thu Ha said that in the coming time, the books by researcher Nguyen Dinh Dau will be published with a new look, presented and illustrated more impressively and vividly.

According to the plan, in 2023, Tre Publishing House will print 4 volumes: A Brief History of Saigon from the 17th century until the French invasion; The public land regime in the history of land reclamation and settlement in the Six Southern Provinces; 100 questions and answers about Gia Dinh - Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City and Ancient Gia Dinh Bay Landscape (written in Nom by Truong Vinh Ky, introduced by Nguyen Dinh Dau).

"During his lifetime, Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet was the one who encouraged me in my research career. Mr. Kiet came to my house several times and even invited me to his house to have dinner and talk about research" - researcher Nguyen Dinh Dau confided.

He also said that he has just had the idea of ​​establishing a Nguyen Dinh Dau Cultural and Historical Foundation, with the intention of giving rewards or grants to young researchers with topics on culture and history in the future. Legal procedures for this foundation are underway.

One of the contents of the copyright contract is that after Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dau passes away, royalties from books in this category will be transferred to the Nguyen Dinh Dau Cultural and Historical Fund.
