Book exhibition to celebrate National Day September 2

From now until August 25, at Ho Chi Minh City Book Street, there will be a book exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) with the theme "80 years of Pride of a country - Culture accompanies the nation".

The exhibition brings together more than 80 typical books on history, war, revolution, culture and resistance literature. Among them are many valuable publications about President Ho Chi Minh , about the heroic history of the nation, along with literary and artistic works reflecting the indomitable spirit, strong will and desire for independence and freedom of the Vietnamese people.

The book exhibition has the participation of the following units: Tre Publishing House, Kim Dong Publishing House, Ho Chi Minh City General Publishing House, Truth National Political Publishing House; bringing many meaningful and valuable publications such as: Imprints of the August Revolution in 1945, The truth about the famine in 1945 - Through historical documents and memories, Cutting the chains - Historical documents from the March coup to the August Revolution in 1945, The story of the female liberation soldier raising the flag on Independence Day... This is not only an opportunity for readers to look back on the 80-year journey of building and developing the country, but also affirms the accompanying role of culture and knowledge in all historical periods.
