The 340-page novel “Blood Book” tells the story of a mother and daughter named Phuong, who survived a family massacre due to the brutal revenge of a drug lord. They accidentally discovered the secret of his crime in a book left by their family, so they continued to be hunted down.

The mother sent her 3-year-old daughter (Phuong) to an orphanage and disappeared. More than ten years later, a stranger appeared at the place where Phuong was working, told her the whole truth about her life and again begged her to run away to save her life...

From here, the story is led through many thrilling and suspenseful details, with many different fates in a tight and logical chain, with two parallel threads, one side is the diligence of the police officers investigating this serious case, the other side is the bravery and intelligence of those who are in the very den of evil to confront evil.

In the end, justice is served, the culprit must pay for his crimes, and strangers, after so much suffering, are united on a journey toward goodness.

Writer Phong Diep is a member of the Vietnam Writers Association and has published 27 books including short stories, essays, novels, and literary dialogues. Among them, there are novels that have left their mark such as “Blogger”, “Ga ky uoc”, “Vuc gio”... Writer Phong Diep has also had his works translated and published in France, China, the US, and Russia.
