The De Men Children's Award, founded and organized annually by the Sports and Culture Newspaper (Vietnam News Agency), is a prestigious cultural and artistic award honoring outstanding works created by or for children. This award is presented periodically on the occasion of International Children's Day (June 1), becoming a beautiful milestone in the cultural and artistic life of Vietnamese children.
In 2025, the Organizing Committee decided to invite musician Nguyen Van Chung to be the Award's Inspirational Ambassador.
Nguyen Van Chung is one of the prominent musicians of the 8X generation, leaving his mark with many hit songs. Recently, his song "Continuing the story of peace " has reached more than 3 billion views on music platforms.
Nguyen Van Chung also devoted much of his passion to children’s music with more than 300 songs aimed at children. In particular, the song “Mother’s Diary” has transcended genre boundaries to become a cultural phenomenon, touching the hearts of millions of people and being translated into many languages.
In 2020, Nguyen Van Chung was one of the first artists to be honored by the De Men Children's Awards with the De Men Aspiration Award, for the most outstanding children's songs.

At the ceremony to announce his role as Ambassador of the De Men Award, musician Nguyen Van Chung emotionally said: “I believe that in every child is a magical world of childhood. If we sow the seeds of kindness, love and creativity, they will blossom into trees of life full of fragrant flowers and sweet fruits. I am honored to accompany the De Men Children's Award 2025 - a place to inspire and spread the best things to Vietnamese children”.
The 2025 Cricket Awards are undergoing the judging rounds and are ready for the awards ceremony to be held on International Children's Day (June 1). The presence of Inspirational Ambassadors like Nguyen Van Chung will help the awards connect more deeply with the community.
