Ms. Tam immediately reported to the aviation security force. Upon inspection, the package contained 100 50,000 won bills, totaling 5,000,000 won – equivalent to nearly 100 million Vietnamese Dong.

At the same time, a Korean passenger – Ms. Kim Hyuna – reported losing her bag of money.

After being guided by security, she went to the security office and was assisted in getting back the money she had forgotten.

Ms. Kim emotionally thanked the airport staff and returned to the check-in counter to catch her flight to Korea that night.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam has been an employee at Noi Bai airport since 2003. She has picked up belongings left behind by passengers many times, but this is one of the few times she has received such a large amount of money.

“A large sum of money was lying on a cart in a hidden corner. If I were the one who lost it, I would be so shocked. For many people, this amount of money could be a fortune. I am happy that the property was preserved and returned to its rightful owner.” – Ms. Tam shared.
