(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Following Uncle Ho's teaching "Every good person, every good deed is a beautiful flower, our whole nation is a beautiful flower forest", in 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle", cadres, party members, workers, civil servants, laborers and people of Thanh Hoa province have constantly strived to compete, creating a spreading force in the patriotic emulation movement in all areas of social life. Since then, many typical examples have emerged, always exemplary, leading in all work, becoming beautiful "flowers" in the flower garden offered to Uncle Ho.

Building a model unit according to Uncle Ho's teachings

Dong Van Commune ( Thanh Hoa City) is the first commune in the province to be recognized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as a model new-style rural commune (in 2020) and is also the first model commune in Thanh Hoa province (in 2021). The important results of Dong Van Commune in implementing the construction of a model unit, as well as the local development over the past many years, always have the clear mark of the Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of the Commune, Nguyen Van Vinh.

Mr. Vinh shared: "Imbued with Uncle Ho's teaching "If you want to guide the people, you must set an example for others to follow", in my work, as the head of the Party Committee of the commune, I always uphold the responsibility of setting an example in both words and actions, words must go hand in hand with actions, so that the people can learn and follow".

To successfully build a model new-style rural commune, Dong Van has assigned specific party cells and party members to be in charge of each residential area to propagate, mobilize, and unify policies and solutions for new-style rural construction. Mr. Vinh himself is always closely involved in the work, wherever there are difficulties or problems in implementation, he is always present to direct and resolve them. Always listen to the thoughts and aspirations of the people and always put the common interests and the interests of the people first; closely explain to the people about the new-style rural construction policy, encourage them to participate in building their homeland and enjoy the benefits together. After the people have grasped the general policy, focus on propagating to raise awareness, gradually mobilizing to form a sense of self-awareness for the community. With the motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people enjoy", the people consider public affairs as their own affairs, the spirit of solidarity is even stronger.

Dong Van is a purely agricultural commune, mainly developing its economy through agricultural production, with many difficult conditions. With the motto "Whatever is beneficial to the people, do your best", Mr. Vinh always worries and seeks solutions to promote economic development and improve people's lives. Mr. Vinh and the Party Executive Committee of the commune have actively directed the conversion of production forms, invested in infrastructure, joint ventures, and associated with enterprises to invest in production and business. Up to now, Dong Van commune has planned and put into production a high-yield, high-quality intensive rice area with an area of ​​203 hectares to supply products to Sao Khue Trading Joint Stock Company; converted 105 hectares of ineffective rice growing area to a model of comprehensive farms and ranches, increasing the value of agricultural production per hectare of cultivated land to 150 million VND/ha/year. The whole commune currently has 54 farms and ranches; 27 enterprises, 2 cooperatives operate effectively in production and business; 264 production and business establishments, contributing to creating jobs for hundreds of local workers. The economy develops, people's lives are constantly improving and enhancing, average income per capita reaches 73.5 million VND/person/year, the commune has no poor households. The commune Party Committee has continuously completed and excellently completed its tasks for 10 consecutive years.

Learn from Uncle Ho to become an exemplary teacher

With nearly 20 years of dedication to the career of "cultivating people", Ms. Dinh Thi Van, a Literature teacher at Hau Loc 4 High School (Hau Loc) has always followed Uncle Ho's teachings: "No matter how difficult it is, we must continue to compete to teach well and study well". In teaching, she is always active in learning, cultivating knowledge and accumulating experience, so that every time she stands on the podium, she can convey all her knowledge to students; at the same time, she focuses on the major policies of the industry, which are to innovate teaching methods, maximize students' autonomy and creativity in class... Thanks to the innovation of teaching methods, bringing information technology into teaching to stimulate students' interest, creativity, exploration and self-study, each of Ms. Van's lessons is exciting, making students excited and eager to learn.

Ms. Van said, “I have seriously studied Uncle Ho's ideology, ethics and style. That is the scientific working style, reasonable work arrangement, learning from Uncle Ho's simple and sociable lifestyle, using love to educate , encourage and motivate students to strive to study. In teaching, I have included Uncle Ho's ideology, ethics and style in my lectures so that students can comprehend, practice ethics, healthy lifestyle, nurture the ambition to become useful citizens for society and apply it to their writing, especially the part relating lessons through each work.”

In the work of nurturing excellent students, realizing that this is an important task in improving the quality of education and increasing the position of the school, she always worries and thinks about how to have many students who are good at the subjects she is in charge of. Therefore, she has had 14 students win provincial prizes in Literature. In the high school graduation exam, she had many students who scored 9 points or higher in Literature and 27 points or higher in block C00. Not only is she enthusiastic about the career of "growing people", she also actively writes experience initiatives and has had 7 initiatives classified at the industry level.

With her passion, tireless efforts, sense of responsibility, dedication, and passion for the career of "cultivating people", for many consecutive years, teacher Dinh Thi Van has achieved the title of grassroots emulation fighter, received a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, many Certificates of Merit from the Department of Education and Training, and the People's Committee of Hau Loc district. She is one of 133 teachers honored as "Outstanding Teacher of Thanh Hoa" for the second time in 2024.
