Phu Dong commune creates conditions for young people to start businesses and develop.

At the conference, Vice Chairman of Phu Dong Commune People's Committee Nguyen Van Thuyet informed about the situation and outstanding results in socio -economic development in the commune. Deputy Secretary of the Commune Youth Union Nguyen Thi Thu Hien reported on the commune's youth work in the first 10 months of 2025.

Based on understanding the thoughts and aspirations of union members and young people, Chairman of Phu Dong Commune People's Committee Dao Duc Minh affirmed that the Commune People's Committee always identifies young people as the vanguard force in local economic development. In the coming time, the commune will coordinate with the Youth Union, the Commune Youth Union and the Social Policy Bank to implement preferential loan support programs, guide project establishment, and connect businesses to help young people start businesses.

The leaders of Phu Dong Commune People's Committee highly appreciated the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of the commune's youth with models of youth car wash, pickleball playground, youth participation in community tourism , developing homestay models, food services, souvenir sales, etc. At the same time, they assigned the specialized department to review and propose public land and suitable premises to support the youth in pilot implementation, ensuring that the models are strictly managed, operate effectively, serve the community and are sustainable.

Chairman of Phu Dong Commune People's Committee Dao Duc Minh added that, in addition to creating conditions for loans and supporting production, the commune is focusing on shifting the economic structure towards trade - services - tourism, expanding local industries to increase employment opportunities for youth. In addition, the commune will coordinate with businesses in and outside the area to connect recruitment, organize mobile job fairs, helping young people find suitable jobs right in the locality. The commune will organize training courses and thematic activities on digital skills, life skills, and entrepreneurship skills for young people; encourage young people to develop service and production business models associated with digital transformation, e-commerce, promote OCOP products and local tourism.

Along with directing villages to strengthen the classification, collection and treatment of household waste, Phu Dong commune leaders assigned the commune Youth Union to preside over the activities of "Green Saturday", "Sunday for the environment", clean up residential areas and self-managed roads; encourage young people to implement recycling models, plant flowers instead of garbage, etc.

On behalf of the union members and youth of the commune, Secretary of the Phu Dong Commune Youth Union Nguyen Van Tu expressed his wish that the commune leaders maintain annual dialogues so that the commune's youth can share and contribute ideas to build the increasingly developed homeland of Phu Dong.
