The Drone Photo Awards competition is for photos taken from devices and vehicles from above, within the framework of the international photography award Siena Photo Awards, established in 2015, attracting professional and amateur photographers around the world. In 2021, the organizers received about 14,000 photos from more than 100 countries, competing in the categories: nature, urban, people, wildlife, sports , abstract, photo series... Notably, although the name is Drone Photo Awards, not all photos are taken by remote-controlled aircraft (drones).
