Recently, Mr. Huynh Minh Chin, Deputy Director of Binh Duong Department of Health and Director of Thuan An City Medical Center (Thuan An General Hospital) confirmed that 5 medical staff in specialized departments of Thuan An City Medical Center have resigned.

Regarding these cases, the Deputy Director of Binh Duong Department of Health said that up to now, he has approved the resignation request of one case, starting from November 1, which is Mr. LVH, an official of the Organization - Administration Department.

The remaining 4 cases, after the Board of Directors did ideological work and mobilized, withdrew their resignation applications.

It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that Thuan An City Medical Center has faced a situation where many key staff, chief doctors and deputy heads of departments with many years of experience have simultaneously submitted resignations. In recent years, in addition to the above cases, this Center has recorded about 30 doctors (not including nurses) resigning.

Previously, the Director of Thuan An City Medical Center, Ms. Huynh Thi Nguyet Phuong, retired in May 2024. During the time Ms. Phuong was the Director, many key staff, despite being of working age, submitted their resignations as mentioned above.

Currently, the Center is still vacant for the position of Director. Mr. Huynh Minh Chin, Deputy Director of the Department of Health, is currently in charge of managing and operating the Center's activities. The Center's two Deputy Directors are Mr. Vo Nhat Khuong and Mr. Tran Tuan Huy Cuong.
