Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province inaugurated 50 Great Solidarity houses

On November 16, in Hung Hoi commune, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province held the inauguration ceremony and handed over 50 Great Solidarity houses to households in difficult circumstances in the province. The project is a practical activity to welcome the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, sponsored by the Trade Union of the State Bank of Vietnam with a total cost of 3 billion VND.

Delegates performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony, officially handing over 50 Great Solidarity houses sponsored by the State Bank of Vietnam Trade Union .

From this funding source, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province allocated 50 houses to 24 communes. Of which, the commune with the most support was 3 houses, the commune with the least support was 1 house. Each house received a support level of 60 million VND. In just 2 months of implementation, all 50 houses were completed, exceeding the set schedule. Hung Hoi commune alone had 1 house handed over this time, belonging to Mr. Son Ra Ret's household (Nuoc Man hamlet). In addition to the support from the program, the family and clan also contributed to build a more solid and spacious house.

On this occasion, sponsors and localities presented gifts to support families receiving Great Solidarity houses.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Thanh Trieu, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, acknowledged the timely participation of the local Fatherland Front, helping the implementation process take place quickly, ensuring the quality of the project. He said that in the coming time, in addition to housing support, the Provincial Fatherland Front will coordinate with sectors to deploy more models to create sustainable livelihoods, helping people stabilize their lives and gradually escape poverty.

Moved when receiving the new house, Mr. Son Ra Ret expressed his gratitude to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, the local Party Committee, government and sponsors for their attention and creating conditions for his family to have a stable place to live. This is a great motivation for him to continue working hard, producing and improving his life./.
