Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province informed: This is a project to welcome the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. The 50 "Great Unity" houses handed over this time have a total value of 3 billion VND, sponsored by the Trade Union of the State Bank of Vietnam. From this amount, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province allocated 50 houses to 24 communes to build 50 houses, the commune with the most 3 houses, the commune with the least 1 house (each house worth 60 million VND).

In just two months, 50 houses were built, completed ahead of schedule. Notably, the budget management was strictly implemented, without loss; all households contributed extra working days, supplemented with support from family or relatives, so the value of each house was more than 60 million VND. All houses met the "3 hard" residential housing standards: hard foundation, hard frame and hard roof.
Ms. Huynh Ngoc Tham, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hung Hoi Commune, said that Hung Hoi was merged from two communes, Hung Hoi and Hung Thanh, with the largest Khmer population in Ca Mau province (over 30% of the population). In recent years, thanks to timely benefits from the Party and State's policies, the lives of the Khmer people have increasingly developed. Rural transport infrastructure has been widely built, many models have been deployed, helping people apply them to the labor production process and develop the family economy .
However, in the commune there are still many poor households in need of help. Therefore, the 50 “Great Solidarity” houses completed and handed over are not only shelters from the rain and sun, but also a vivid symbol of the spirit of mutual love, solidarity and closeness, and the deep concern of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province and the State Bank of Vietnam for households with housing difficulties.

Hung Hoi Commune will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, take better care of people's lives; strengthen socialization work, mobilize more resources to build social security programs, and leave no one behind.
Receiving the Great Solidarity house on this occasion, Mr. Son Na Ret (Nuoc Man hamlet, Hung Hoi commune) was moved to thank the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, the Party Committee, the People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Hoi commune and the sponsor. He said that the new house is a motivation for his family to continue to strive to work and produce, to improve their lives.
