Many beauty salons in Ho Chi Minh City have been suspended from operation.

On June 6, the Inspectorate of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health announced that it had just issued a decision to fine a number of cosmetic establishments that provided medical examination and treatment services without a business license and traded in goods of unknown origin.

Specifically:

- Fined Mr. Truong Huy Hoan (owner of DHYHN beauty business - 398 Le Hong Phong, District 10) 90 million VND, suspended operations for 18 months. Reason: the facility provided medical examination and treatment services without a license to operate medical examination and treatment; provided cosmetic services without a written notice of meeting the conditions for providing cosmetic services sent to the competent state agency as prescribed.

- Fined Mr. Dang Quoc Khanh (25/37 Cong Quynh, District 1) 49 million VND, suspended the facility's operations for 18 months. Reason: providing medical examination and treatment services without a medical examination and treatment license and trading in goods of unknown origin with a shipment value of 3 million VND.

- Fined Mr. Le Thanh Tung (owner of Royal International Aesthetic Institute - 28 Nguyen Van Giai, District 1) over 77 million VND, suspended operations for 18 months. Reason: providing medical examination and treatment services without a medical examination and treatment license; advertising special products, goods, and services without having the content confirmed by a competent state agency before advertising according to regulations; trading in goods of unknown origin with a shipment value of 5 million VND.

- The Inspector of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health also fined the General Clinic of Pouyuen Vietnam Company Limited (D10/89Q, National Highway 1A, Binh Tan District) 12 million VND because the practitioner did not register to practice medical examination and treatment according to regulations; the names of the departments were not in accordance with the medical examination and treatment license issued by the competent authority.

- Fined Tan Quy Company Limited (28/7 Hamlet 1, Tan Thanh Tay Commune, Cu Chi District) 4 million VND for listing the names of departments in the medical examination and treatment facility inconsistently with the operating license issued by the competent authority.

- Fined branch 1, MILEY LUXURY LLC (80B Ly Chinh Thang, District 3) 93 million VND. The reason is that this unit has practitioners who are not registered to practice medical examination and treatment according to regulations; operate without a signboard according to regulations; establish a medical examination and treatment book but do not record it fully according to regulations; do not post prices for medical examination and treatment services; the practitioner responsible for the technical expertise of the facility is not present at the medical examination and treatment facility during the time of registration of operation without authorizing another person according to regulations...
