Many cultural activities before the Festival of Lady of the Land of Sam Mountain

Specifically, the People's Committee of Chau Doc City summarized and awarded prizes for the Online Contest to learn about the Festival of Ba Chua Xu Mountain Sam, a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity, taking place from May 7 to 14. There were 1,165 account registrations, 1,188 accounts participating in the contest, with 4,787 entries.

The Organizing Committee decided to award 17 prizes, including: 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 2 third prizes, 10 consolation prizes, 2 secondary prizes (oldest contestant and youngest contestant).

Contestant Duong Minh Thu (in white ao dai, middle) won first prize. Contestants Le Dieu Thuong and Nguyen Thi Anh Vuong (left cover) won second prize.

The professional sector also coordinated to organize a performance night in the grounds of Ba Chua Xu Temple in Sam Mountain, creating a joyful and bustling atmosphere before the peak of Via Ba. Each performance was filled with pride, honoring the unique features of the festival in particular, and the land and people of Chau Doc in general.

The event took place on the weekend, so it attracted a lot of visitors who stopped to enjoy the program.

At the same time, visitors can also visit the exhibition of paintings and photos on the theme of the Festival of Lady of the Land of Sam Mountain.
