Many attractive folk games at Ca Mau Crab Festival

(NLDO) – The 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival in 2025 promises to attract many domestic and foreign tourists with many attractive activities and folk games.

On November 5, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province held an information meeting about the 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2025; the event "Hello Ca Mau".

Informing the delegates, Mr. Ly Vy Trieu Duong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province, said that the 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2025 with the theme "Ca Mau Crab: Forest Fragrance - Sea Flavor" is a provincial-level event that will take place from November 16 to 22.

The opening ceremony of the 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2025 will take place at 8:00 p.m. on November 16 at Phan Ngoc Hien Square, An Xuyen Ward (Ca Mau). In addition, the event will also organize a space for displaying and exhibiting crab industry trade; start-up products, innovation and OCOP products with a scale of more than 310 booths; organize a "record setting" contest for Ca Mau crabs along with folk games, such as: fast crab catching, fast crab tying and crab racing...

Deputy Director of the Department of Finance of Ca Mau province Nguyen Duc Thanh said the event "Hello Ca Mau" will take place from November 18 to 22 in Ho Chi Minh City.

"The main event activities are organized by the People's Committee of Ca Mau province in coordination with the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City with activities including: investment, trade and tourism promotion conference; Ca Mau Crab Festival culinary festival - 2025 at the Youth Cultural House" - Mr. Thanh added.

The speed crab racing competition taking place in Ca Mau in 2022 attracts a lot of tourists.

The above events are an opportunity for Ca Mau to promote its potential and strengths in economy, culture, tourism, environment as well as investment potential and sustainable development. At the same time, it calls for domestic and foreign organizations and individuals to invest in Ca Mau.
