Many universities accept applications for transcripts from May

Banking Academy, University of Commerce, Academy of Journalism and Communication and many other schools announced admission based on transcripts from mid-May with some conditions.

Starting from 2025, the Ministry of Education and Training will stop early admission, all forms of admission must follow the Ministry's general schedule. However, many schools have announced that they will start accepting applications based on transcripts in May.

Here are some universities that are expected to accept applications in May:

6	University of Commerce	Admission combines foreign language certificates, international testing certificates with high school transcript scores in Math and the remaining subjects in the group other than Foreign Languages ​​of candidates graduating from high school in 2025. The score of each subject is determined as the average score of 3 years of high school. 10	Vietnam Academy of Agriculture	Admission is based on the average score of the entire 12th grade year on a 10-point scale of 3 subjects according to the admission combination (in which subject 1 is multiplied by a coefficient of 2, the total score is converted to a 30-point scale) plus priority points. 11	Vietnam National Academy of Music	The Literature subject score is a qualifying score for admission, not counted in the total admission score but must be 5 points or higher (on a 10-point scale).	From 12/5-20/6

Regarding the review of academic records, the Ministry of Education and Training requires a combination of at least 3 subjects, including Math or Literature with a weight of at least one-third of the total score. A major or training program can use several subject combinations at the same time. In that case, the common number of subjects in the combinations must have an assessment weight of at least 50% of the total score.

In particular, schools must use the results of the entire 12th grade year of candidates, instead of using the scores of 3-5 semesters as at present. The review of transcripts will be conducted at the same time as other methods, that is, after candidates know their high school graduation exam scores, and not announced early as in previous years.
