According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , before 5:00 p.m. on August 17, schools will enter the admission scores and admission results into the system, review and prepare to announce the first round of admission results according to the general schedule. The Ministry of Education and Training stipulates that schools announce the first round of admission results before 5:00 p.m. on August 19.
A series of universities will announce their admission scores on August 17 - right after the final virtual screening results. Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology has set the time to announce the admission results of method 5 (comprehensive admission) and early admission methods at 5:08 p.m. on August 17. On August 18, candidates can look up the admission results. New students will complete the admission procedures directly at the school on August 20-21. Instructions on preparing documents, admission schedule and participation in early-term activities for new students will be announced soon.
A representative of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade informed that the benchmark scores were announced at 7:19 p.m. on August 17, right after the meeting of the school's Admissions Council. Currently, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade has initial statistics on the majors that attract the most candidates to register for admission this year.
August 17 is also the expected date to announce the admission scores of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance and Nha Trang University.
Among the units under Ho Chi Minh City National University, the University of Economics and Law and the University of Information Technology are expected to announce their admission scores on August 17.
Similarly, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, Van Lang University, Gia Dinh University, Van Hien University, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Hong Bang International University, Saigon International University... also announced the admission scores at this time.

In 2024, the Ministry of Education and Training said that more than 733,000 candidates registered for admission (equivalent to 68.5% of the number of candidates taking the graduation exam), an increase of about 73,000 compared to last year. The Banking Academy also plans to announce the benchmark scores on August 17. Meanwhile, the National Economics University said it will announce them on August 19. Some schools such as the Hanoi University of Industry and the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology may announce their benchmark scores on August 19.
