Many roads in Kon Tum were eroded due to the impact of storm No. 1.

On June 12, the Department of Construction of Kon Tum province said that the impact of storm No. 1 caused damage to many traffic routes in the area.

Provincial Road 677, the section bordering Dak Pxi and Dak Long communes, is flooded.

Specifically, on National Highway 40B (section through Tu Mo Rong district), heavy rain caused landslides at 11 locations, trees fell across the road, causing local congestion.

In addition, 25 points on 7 provincial roads also experienced flooding, landslides, erosion, and rocks and soil overflowing onto the road surface.

According to the Department of Construction of Kon Tum province, to ensure smooth traffic, the unit has directed management units to prepare machinery and human resources to promptly clear mud and soil from ditches, rocks and soil overflowing the road surface, clear sewers, and collect landslides on positive slopes... Mobilize vehicles, human resources, and materials to fix and repair damage on roads to ensure traffic safety.

According to records, prolonged heavy rain has flooded Provincial Road 677, the border section between Dak Pxi and Dak Long communes (Dak Ha district, Kon Tum province), making it impossible for vehicles to pass.

According to statistics from the authorities, the rain and wind also caused damage to houses, blowing off the roofs and collapsing the walls of two houses in Tu Mo Rong commune (Tu Mo Rong district) and Dak To Re commune (Kon Ray district).
