Khanh Hoa: Will handle if advertising false information about real estate products

On June 19, Khanh Hoa Department of Construction informed that it had requested the Provincial Police to proactively deploy to the Commune and Ward Police (after arrangement) when the Department of Construction requested coordination in handling organizations and individuals using social networks to provide and share false information about real estate products.

The Department also requested the police to handle illegal real estate trading floors and real estate brokerage activities, tax evasion, and acts of providing inaccurate information that negatively impact the operations of the financial, credit, and real estate markets.

Khanh Hoa Department of Construction also said that it has required individuals practicing real estate brokerage to only practice when meeting the conditions (valid practice certificate and only practice within the framework of legal organizations). When posting information on the internet, individuals practicing real estate brokerage must clearly state the certificate number. In case of violation (freelance practice or expired certificate) will be considered and handled according to regulations.

For organizations and individuals doing business in real estate services, they must meet the conditions prescribed in the Law on Real Estate Business 2023 and Decree No. 96 of the Government ; if they do not meet the conditions, they will be forced to stop operations.

These are the moves made by Khanh Hoa Department of Construction to rectify and handle price manipulation, real estate speculation and inspect and examine real estate construction investment projects as requested by the Provincial People's Committee to implement the Prime Minister 's direction.

According to the report, the real estate market situation in Khanh Hoa in the first quarter of 2025 had 6,965 transactions with a total value of more than 5,740 billion VND. Notably, in the first 3 months of 2025, no real estate project was qualified to be put into operation, but the transactions remained at the same level as in the fourth quarter of 2024.

SGGP newspaper has also published many articles reflecting the recent increase in land prices in some localities following information about the reorganization of provincial administrative units; posing a potential risk of "virtual fever" due to speculative activities and market manipulation.
