According to information updated by EVN this morning (November 8), all hydropower plants under EVN and Power Generation Corporations in the affected area still ensure construction safety.

Currently, 20 hydroelectric reservoirs are releasing spillways to regulate and reduce floods downstream, ensuring flood prevention capacity.

The lakes include: A Vuong, Song Bung 2, Song Bung 4, Song Tranh 2, Song Ba Ha, Ham Thuan, An Khe, Se San 3A, Se San 4, Pleikrong, Se San 3, Ialy, Buon Tua Srah, Srepok 3, Buon Kuop, Don Duong, Dong Nai 3, Dong Nai 4, Thac Mo and Tri An.

On the transmission grid system, the 500kV lines are currently operating normally. Units under the National Power Transmission Corporation and the Central Power Corporation have restored 6/7 incidents on the 220kV grid and 23/26 incidents on the 110kV lines.

All 17 110kV transformer stations affected by the storm have been restored to safe operation.

In particular, in the work of power supply, with a sense of urgency and high responsibility, EVN has mobilized about 1,300 officers and workers along with many necessary means and materials to closely coordinate with local authorities. Thanks to that, by this morning, November 8, the units have restored power supply to nearly 1.13 million customers out of a total of 1.65 million customers interrupted by the storm, reaching a rate of more than 68%.
