Suspend circulation and recall of fake silver shampoo products

On November 10, Lam Dong Provincial Department of Health announced the implementation of the Drug Administration's dispatch on the suspension of circulation and recall of fake silver-coated shampoo cosmetic products.

Recall of Natural Black Hair Colorant Silver Shampoo (Brand: Vinamake)

Accordingly, the circulation will be suspended and the product Natural Black Hair Colorant (Brand: Vinamake) will be recalled nationwide, with the Announcement Receipt Number: 82/21/CBMP-HB.

The organization responsible for bringing the product to market and manufacturing is Vinamake Joint Stock Company (address: Group 8, Le Thanh Tong Street, Tan Thinh Ward, Hoa Binh City, Hoa Binh Province; now Group 8, Le Thanh Tong Street, Hoa Binh Ward, Phu Tho Province).

After examination, the Institute of Criminal Science, Ministry of Public Security determined that the above product sample did not detect some substances as declared in the ingredients, on the label, and packaging of the product and was concluded by the Economic Police Department, Phu Tho Provincial Police as "counterfeit goods".

Lam Dong Department of Health requests that businesses and cosmetic users in the province immediately stop trading and using the above cosmetic products; recall, return to distributors and send recall reports to Lam Dong Department of Health before November 24, 2025.

Lam Dong Province Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Testing Center strengthens the supervision of cosmetic quality and sampling for testing in the area, especially checking the above cosmetic products.

The Inspection and Legal Department, the Provincial Department of Health, together with communes, wards and special zones, coordinate with competent authorities to strengthen inspection and examination of drug and cosmetic retail establishments in the area. At the same time, strictly handle violations according to their authority or transfer them to competent authorities for handling according to the provisions of law.
