Survey on construction of Lam Dong - Dak Lak bridge, opening up direction for regional development

On the afternoon of November 10, comrade Ho Van Muoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, and members of the Provincial People's Committee delegation surveyed the proposed location to build a bridge connecting Nam Da commune (Lam Dong) and Ea Na commune (Dak Lak).

The proposed bridge construction site is located in the core area of ​​Dak Nong UNESCO Global Geopark, surrounded by many caves and potential for tourism development.

Leaders of Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 3 informed about the necessity of building a bridge to create development momentum for the locality and province.

Local leaders said that the investment in building the bridge is extremely necessary to facilitate trade and socio -economic development between Nam Da and Ea Na communes as well as neighboring areas. When the project is completed, the distance from Nam Da commune to Buon Ma Thuot airport will be shortened to about 35 km, instead of nearly 90 km as at present.

The proposed bridge is about 165 m long, with 6 km of approach roads, with a total estimated investment of about 350 billion VND. When completed, the project will connect three national highways 27, 14 and 28, contributing to the formation of a strategic traffic axis, promoting development links between Lam Dong and Dak Lak provinces.
