On November 10, information from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health showed that 13 hospitals in the area have received 235 cases after eating bread from the "Miss Bich's Toad Bread" shop.

Military Hospital 175 received 131 cases; Tam Anh General Hospital 26 cases; Gia Dinh People's Hospital 52 cases; Binh Dan Hospital 1 case; My Duc Tan Binh Hospital 1 case; Becamex International Hospital 9 cases; Trung My Tay General Hospital 7 cases; Hoc Mon Regional General Hospital 1 case; Khanh Hoi General Hospital 1 case; Children's Hospital 2 HCMC 2 cases; University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital HCMC branch 3 received 2 cases; People's Hospital 115 received 1 case; Thong Nhat Hospital 1 case.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health initially determined that the patient's symptoms and paraclinical data were consistent with intestinal bacteria, most likely salmonella. Blood culture results of one patient also recorded this bacteria.

Thus, compared to the first day when 40 emergency cases were recorded at Military Hospital 175, the number of people hospitalized after eating bread from "Miss Bich's Toad Bread" has increased 5 times.

After the initial announcement on November 8, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety has not provided any further information about this incident.
