At the scene, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan assessed that the damage to businesses was huge, not only industry but tourism was also heavily affected, especially resorts and commercial areas.

Gia Lai province has directed the review and statistics of damages, and at the same time supported businesses in restoring infrastructure, factories, electricity and water systems to soon stabilize production.
The Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee said that the province will consider financial and credit support policies and appropriate incentive mechanisms to help businesses restore production and stabilize jobs for workers.
“One of the top priorities now is to restore electricity, water and essential infrastructure. At the same time, businesses with insurance need to coordinate with insurance companies to quickly determine the damage, as a basis for compensation and re-production,” the Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee emphasized.
