
The A prize in the novel category was awarded to writer, Lieutenant Colonel Duong Binh Nguyen, for his work The Wind Still Blows in the Tropical Forest , which is considered the first novel in Vietnam to deeply explore the topic of data crime in the digital age.
The contest attracted 132 authors with 140 works, including more than 100 large-scale novels. The organizing committee awarded 34 prizes. Along with The Wind Still Blows in the Tropical Forest, two other A prizes in the novel category were awarded to Face-to-Face by Dr. Pham Quang Long and Afternoon Through the Town by writer Nguyen Thu Hang. The work Green Grass of Steel Life by writer Tong Phuoc Bao was also awarded A prize in the memoir category.

The works show a strong shift in the Public Security literature, from describing feats and criminal investigations to exploring psychological, ethical and technological depth. Colonel Tran Cao Kieu, Deputy Director of the Public Security Communications Department, Director of the Public Security Publishing House, emphasized: "Many feats and declassified documents, never before reflected in literature, have now been accessed by authors, expanding the scope of reflection on Public Security soldiers in the digital age."

Chairman of the Vietnam Writers Association Nguyen Quang Thieu assessed that this contest was “successful in terms of theme, ideas, message and artistic quality”. Meanwhile, writer Nguyen Binh Phuong, Chairman of the Final Jury, commented that “many works caused strong emotions, crossing the boundaries of writing to approach the authenticity of life”.
Commenting on the work, the judge - writer Suong Nguyet Minh said that The Wind Still Blows in the Tropical Forest is a "different, new and groundbreaking" novel. Duong Binh Nguyen's novel opens up another space, the fight against crime on the cyber security front. The criminals here have no name, no shape, no face, hidden in the invisible cyber world.
After 15 years of absence, Duong Binh Nguyen - the beloved author of Lang nhan sac , Ve lai thien duong , Giay do... returns with a sharper, more experienced writing style. He currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, Head of the Special Topics Department, People's Police Television (ANTV).
The award not only recognizes the progress of a writer who has been associated with youth, but also affirms the new vitality of literature on the topic of Public Security, the flow connecting art, responsibility and the work of protecting the peace of the Fatherland.
