Bringing the play "Comrade" to students

On the evening of November 12, at the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials (Binh Thanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the play "Comrade" (scriptwriter: Le Thu Hanh, director: People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau - Quoc Thinh) was performed to serve hundreds of students.

This is a performance responding to the activity "Ho Chi Minh City Literature and Arts Days", promoting outstanding dramatic art works. The work has a script that received an A prize from the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association Scriptwriting Camp in 2024, is a play that won the Gold Medal at the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Theater Festival in 2024 and received the Ho Chi Minh City Creative Award in 2025.

Attending the play were comrades: Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Y, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials; teachers, civil servants, workers and hundreds of students of the Academy.

The drama is performed gently, without slogans, containing many levels of emotions, close to life, helping to strongly evoke love for the homeland in every audience member.

In particular, when watching the play, in many performances, the veterans recalled the battles, the enemy's raids, the determination to fight to the end of the soldiers in their twenties, on the battlefield full of dangers and hardships, touching the hearts of the young audience who were following the story. The young people were somewhat moved and remembered forever the merits of many generations of their ancestors, the heroic soldiers who had fallen, who had devoted their youth and blood to protect the country and gain national independence and freedom.

Comrades is a very special stage work, each performance brings many emotions to the audience. The play has the participation of People's Artist My Uyen, artists Chanh Truc, Quoc Thinh, Trong Hieu, Minh Quoc, Lam Thang, Ky Thien Canh, Khanh Dang, Quoc Cuong, Huynh Thien Trung...
